Parkso,
eman 369 is right. N/O is "Normally Open" circuit.

The N/C "Normally Closed" connection is made when the momentary switch is depressed.

Keep in mind, when set up on the KTMs with the tripmaster switch to display all the available functions, they were very problematic units.

That is why the KTM talk site is full of posts about them- but luckily this is to our advantage.

All the problems these units sometimes exhibit can be dealt with by the abundance of Info on the KTM Talk site. After all, there are a zillion of them out there on the KTMs.

Glad I could be of assistance. Cheers !! :) :)

Just finished the button unit side of business. Going to replace the speedo connector and add on to the button cable. Should be done then...

PS- Pics to come...

So, I got the 3 button switch made, and hooked up. Eureka, it works!!!! So, I read the KTM talk post regarding changing wheel size. Went through the setup menu, and it won't let me get to the WS setting. I took the advice from KT and unhooked the odometer, but still wouldn't let me into the WS setting. So, little hurdle crossed, but I'm still wading on the other side trying to find land.

Also, I noticed that I don't have the magnetic screw in my wheel, so I guess I will need to go buy one. I suppose I can find a small one and epoxy it in there. But it is really small. I was using my magnetic pick-up tool to trigger the wheel spin to get the computer to fire up. Also noticed that if you hit the mode button, the computer turns on also.

Any ideas????

EUREKA, PROBLEM SOLVED. I HAVE UNLOCKED THE FULL POTENTIAL OF MY SPEEDOMETER!!!!!!!

This is a good day. To do this, one must follow the procedure below, stolen from KT:

Locate the 3-wire connector coming out of the trip computer. On the computer side there will be a black wire, follow it through the connector, it will connect to a black wire with a brown tracer; clip this wire and tape off both ends. (Don't worry, there is no power in this wire, it is just a pull-down to ground for certain circuits inside the computer.) This will enable the hidden functions of your trip computer â€â€
