Compression release lever

Compression release lever:

On my 08' FE 450 the lever is not on the bike to compression release.
Is this a big deal or not ? I bought it this way, but do have the set up from another bike to put on. Should I install it ? I know there is one on the cam so ?

I have mine installed but don't use it.....the 450 you can get to top dead centre for kicking without it and perhaps know where you are better. Can be used to clear motor of fuel after a get off but the hot start button or e start is first choice.
