Any help would be appreciated!

That is a rectifier/regulator.

I would email everyone who's currently breaking a husaberg on ebay. (There are quite a few, one of 'em has got to have a coil)

SEM apparantly still produces ignitions for 2009 Maicos which are sold by ATK. The ignition is a 130 watt (70 x2 ?) which would be about the same as a Berg SEM.

yeah... I have done that... for the U.S. and the U.K. with no luck.

I guess I will just have to keep trying...

so the one from the fc501e won't work I take it...

Yeah I guess I will have to get something used... 400 dollars is still high for me... I paid 1200 for the bike... just had the stator rewound at 280... and still have yet to ride the bike for more than 5 minutes

CDI coil

Try replacing the HV lead first before buy new or used CDI.The coil and cap both unscrew CCW, then use Electronic Cleaner to clean out socket, then check both CDI and spark plug cap for damage (small screw inside socket). Then cut about 6.350mm from both ends of the HV lead and reinstall CDI and spark plug cap (CW).
If this fixes the problem buy a few feet of (11mm OD, copper wire) HV lead (from a performance car or cycle shop.

This fixed a 86 Husky 500 and 01 FC550 with weak/no spark and would die at low idle, missing at hi revs.

weird... glad I didn't buy a coil...

I don't know what it was... but now I'm getting good spark... and before I definately wasn't

I think that i may have gotten something wet ... (long story)

so now I have spark... but still no start...

its backfiring through the intake ....

atleast I'm getting some kind of fire every 10 kicks... think the valves will need adjusted... already put the piece in that was missing from the carb and put the mixture at 2.5 turns out and idle at stock settings soooo.... I have spark, I have fuel, ....
