The only other thing I can think of bearing in mind that your needle and tube are not worn is intermiant connections or when the engine get hot this is when the stator is beginning to play up.
The next time you get it running get the engine hot and do the spark test again if down on performance the heat has killed the insulation on the windings.

i have heated the stator seperately over the hob untill it was to hot to even hold !!!!! put it on the cold bike and it started !!!!!!!

this was about two weeks ago

Mikey, has the needle or atomiser been replaced recently, if worn this will give hard starting when warm.
Regarding the ignition system if there is a fault with it, it must be intermittent which would only show up if I ran it up on the test rig, but I would go down the carburation route first.

OK THANKS.I HAVE ACTUALLY STRIPPED AND REBUILT CARB and seemed ok.when i was out today i took 4 kicks to start then i stopped and left it 1 hour then it started first time then again stopped at me mates for 30mins and it played up for about 17 kicks before it went.

its very intermitant it really seems like theres no spark ocassionally???
