I need some advice please What is the minimum thivkness for the clutch plates before one needs to replace them. I have a 2005 FE450. My plates are currently 21.5mm. What are they when new?

I am busy trying to fix a weep hole issue, with lots of help from this site.

The 04 & 05 Repair Manuals list the minimum lining thickness to be 1,9 mm and the new lining thickness to be 2,0 mm.

I have attached Page D16 from the Manual.

RE: Re: Cluth plate thickness

Thanks for the info Joe.

As per your diagram, if I had to hold all the plates together, what is the minimum measurement for number 6? What will the measurement be when new?

Any help would be appreciated.

you'll find it in the owners manual. go to downloads and download a copy to keep for yourself. open it and check through the specs page.
