Just started to have a bit of a problem with my clutch that it is initially fine but after a few miles when the bike has warmed up the clutch needs pumping before it will work.
Bike is a 08 FE 450 (pre 70deg)
I read a post about checking the engine breather and thought that that might have been the answer as I had recently restricted the breather above the cam chain with foam to slow down oil flow when the bike went upside down.
I have now removed this foam and also changed the hydraulic fluid with fresh oil and fully bleed the system.
Again the bike was fine for the first few miles but the clutch then started to need pumping again. When the bike has stood for sometime it is back to normal.
One additional piece of info I have recently fitted some raised bars and although the hose does not seem to be restricted at any point the master cylinder is at a different angle to what it was on the original bars.
My next step is to change back to the original bars then it will be a strip down.
Any ideas before I strip it down? Anyone had a similar problem with the hydraulic clutch?
