Last weekend i was out having fun with my FE 450.

After falling off the bike i recognized that the clutch fluid was leaking out from the master cylinder.

Cant see any damages to the clutch line or the cylinder.

Are there any way the fluid can come out of the system when the bike is upside down?

Can you tell us if your fall impacted the master cylinder and from what part of the master cylinder the fluid is leaking from.?

A photo of said leak would be the ticket! Correct me if I'm wrong but I belive the Magura unit is a Closed loop system. With-out damage I don't see it leaking. Check the Hyd line, The fittings and the other easy stuff first is my motto.. Good Luck

Have checked the hyd line, and it is ok.

Will check the master sylinder this evening. Hope i can get it OK untill this weekend.

I am planning for a trip in the deep forrest together with my WR250 friends

Well if you ask Stoveguy a clutch is only a luxury. 2 days in Moab without one and he did just fine. toss out the clutch out like Ned and add a recluse clutch if you really think a clutch is needed..

Yeah I landed on the clutch one day, what happened was the piston in the master cylinder got shoved too far up the bore and took a chunk out of the little seal, those seals sure are expensive little buggers

the mastercylinder is not - NOT a closed system!!!!! there is a tiny hole halfway along the 'width' on the cap. however it would only make a slight leak.

It was a wery tiny hole in the hyd line.

New expensive hydline an now it is working like before.
