Clutch Cover Guard for FE 390

Hi all,

I'd really like to get a case cover for some added protection on my bike, something like this one from Systech Racing:

Unfortunately Systech only make them for the Husaberg 2 stroke models. I've also seen carbon fibre covers but they look a bit flimsy to me, and there are a lot of reports of the simply falling off.

Is anyone aware of a sturdy clutch cover guard for the 2012 FE 390?

Hyde Racing do one.... better protection but not as sexy looking as the little systech unit though!

I saw a pro tip to file off the 2 inner most spikes on the foot pad, so as they won't punch a hole in the cover in the event it smashes together.

I've seen an ad for a stainless steel cover that you epoxy onto the clutch cover. Can't find it right now.

It is pretty damn sexy isn't it

I've seen the Hyde option but I believe it's a carbon fibre cover and I'd rather find something metal if possible. Force make a replacement cover that is thicker in the region of the brake pedal, it may be my best option but I'm not real keen on black!

Good tip on grinding off the inner teeth. I've ordered a replacement pedal that is rounded to offer a little protection from a puncture:
