Gentlemen
A tooth has sheared off my clutch hub outer.
Must i replace it (expensive), or should i be ok as there are about 150 teeth on there ?
Anyone managed without problems with a tooth missing ?
Will it weld back on ?
Regards
Ady

get one used. check the parts book (u lazy git) and see what year they started that part.

i reckon you'll have one used in days. try gary, try dave, try s & s, try SR off-road (lazy again) try thingy on ebay admmotocross thingy.

I've got one with a missing tooth too
it destroyed another two gears after it
good idea to replace it now1

Since you don't have time to read Taffys doc, I'll warn you the gear pitch is different on the older bikes. stay with 03 part
dan

good point dan. i think it was chris at our local MX/enduro practice circuit who reckoned you can make the wrong gears fit but they make a royal din!!!

if you have anymore info on it/experience i'll add it to the doc.

regards

Taffy
