Clean but broken?

Evening all, hope you are well. I am in need of a little info and help.
I posted an intro a while back and I am now in the process of restoring a 1991 FE350.
I believe I have WP4054 MXMA forks but have attached a photo just in case. These forks haven't been touched for at least 15 years. What I would like to know is:

Am I correct on the model?
Were they original on a 91 FE350?
Are any parts missing from the photo?
What is the rubber thing called that is broken in two, why hasn't the other leg got one (not even in bits)?
Are springs available? This one is within spec but the other is 5mm shorter but has an extra spacer. Is this usual or just a way of sort of making things useable?

No, I don't have a high class workbench with romantic candle, its the kitchen worktop.

Cheers,

Oz

are you sure that that 'ring' is rubber/ so it isn't plastic? check the diameter of it and it will possibly fit inside the inner chamber and is therefore off the mid valve (the MV being a rod inside that alloy leg (the cartridge).

Hi Taffy, thanks for the reply.

The diameter is 21mm and its 7mm deep, but it isn't plastic. One half was inside the metal ring where the bottom of the spring sits, which is why I thought I had one missing out of the other leg.
I will have to check later whether it has. Come from the innards.

Cheers.

i don't know that generation I'm afraid. try and find the parts fische.
