Circlips for WP 4860 Forks

Hi guys,

I am replacing my fork seals on my FE400 (2002) which have the WP 4860
Forks. Having taking them a part the circlips (which sit underneath the fork seal essentially keeping it from being pulled out your fork as you ride) need replacing.

Has anyone got an idea of where I might be able to pick a couple up from? I think I'm stuck without them :-/

And I just wanna ride her this weekend

Do mean the circlip under the dust seal or the washer under the oil seal? Pretty sure both of those parts are still unchanged. Did you try your local KTM dealer? should be a common item. I have a used set in my spare parts stash, where are you located? The best value out there is the KTM R14020 service kit for $100. Includes SKF seals, bushings, even the clips and washers you need!

Hi Dave,

Yeah I mean the clip just under the oil seal which sits within the grove underneath the oil seal! And I am located Nottingham, England.

And Jampe, do you sell those clips? Thanks for the help gents

if you're buying all balls stuff you get a free circlip.

BTW you talk about 'under' and 'over' as how the forks were on the bike. most people talk about forks as in the workshop so the chromes are suddenly 'on top'.

thus the confusion....

Thanks Gents for the help, I got this sorted in the end by finding a replacing circlip. Bought a few allball bits too to replace some of the bushes.

Seals in. New oil. All Good

Gopro set for the weekend!
