Checking my 09 570 engine.

Im well aware they last forever sorta, but shes an ice riding girl and a lot more upper rpm riding than trail. To be safe its being rebuilt for the races this winter. Nothing found on the oil-magnet draining the oil.
You got to love the 70 degree wrenchability if theres such a word, engine out in 2,5 hours.

Nothing bad found, water pump axle had a mark in it due someone doing a bad diy job (weeping a tad) so needs replacing and the cam chain tensioner was not working properly, ie chain wasnt properly tensioned. So new chain + guides and waterpump livery was all, all else fine. Gearbox, piston, crank, main bearings all ok.
Bloody amazing after all this engine has been trough

Total runtime 250 hours and 100 of those ice racing.

Its lightened too, around 60kgs as it stands:
