I thought it was about time to change the mineral clutch fluid on my 09 fe 450 but I can't see how to do it.

whenever I've done it on previous ktm's i have just filled a syringe and pumped it up through the bleed nipple, job done.
On the berg I can't get a pipe and syringe on the nipple as the casing is in the way, so how do i do it ???

If you're doing routine maintenance and aren't trying to solve an air bubble problem, there is no particular reason to do a reverse bleed as you describe. Just let gravity be your friend and do a normal bleed. You can use a piece of aquarium air hose on the nipple at the slave cylinder and just bleed it as normal. You may find it easier to get the aquarium hose on the nipple if you warm the end in hot water.

To do a reverse bleed you have to remove the three small bolts that hold the chain guide and slave cylinder in place. With the slave cylinder off the machine, you can then easily manage a reverse bleed. Be careful not to pull the clutch lever with the slave cylinder dismounted, and use your syringe with care so that you don't squirt mineral oil all over the place from master cylinder reservoir.
