Change damper angle

I´ve heard that some riders changes the angle of the shock absorber, in order to get a more progressive damper. The new husa and KTM seems to allready have that. But how do I change the angle? How much do I need to cut and weld to make that happen?

Doing something like this would require a whole new shock because the needed length would change. That's just for starters, but go price a custom made shock and the practicality vs. improvement ratio will become apparent.
