Chain size

Chainsize is 520, chain length is determined by the sprockets you use and where you prefer to have the rear wheel spindle. If you want the spindle further back, longer chain, if you want the wheel forward, shorter chain. How far forward and backwards you can have it is also influenced by the sprockets, certain sprocket combinations wont allow you to run the wheel more forward, or vice versa

webfoot, you want a 520 X-ring chain. a DID or Renthall. IRIS are good too. 116L is fine. if you like low gearing and LWB then maybe 118L but generally 116L will do it.

I am running into the same issue. With a 118, you are all the way back. With 116, you are at the front of the range with a 13/52.
If you run a 120 tire with the 116 chain, then there isn't much clearance between the tire and the mudflap.
