CBR F2 wheels on a 05 Husaberg Fe550e?

For a winter project, I am just starting to think about putting F2 wheels on my 05 fe550.

Has anyone out there done this? If so I would appreciate hearing what has to be done.

On supermotojunkie I read Kubiak has machined and welded the cushdrive to get the rear to fit on an XR. I assume it would be a similar for the berg.

I am also wondering about the front. The berg has a 26mm axle. I assume the F2 axle is narrower? Anyone know what axle and bearing sizes (ID, OD, thickness) for the F2 wheels? Is it possible to get a bearing to match the berg axle and th F2 wheel? Or can I get a bearing that matches the F2 wheel (outside diameter) and machine a spacer to fit the axle??

Any feedback would be appreciated.

cagiva/aprillia supermoto wheels

Steve I fancied a set of road wheels for my 03 fe400 and saw a pair of tatty 17 inch cagiva super city three spoke wheels at a mates yard, they have a single 320mm disc on the left and a cush drive/sprocket 42 teeth on the right making them ideal for bergs. Once stripped and painted they looked awesome, got a pair of used race dunlops 110/70/17 front tyre and 150/60/17 back tyre off Ebay, next fitting. I flipped the font disc over and made a caliper extension out of ally plate, then turned a new spindle, spacers and a split collar, front wheel fitted brake working. The back wheel sprocket needed to be a couple of mm from the swing arm and the disc needed to be spaced out from the wheel to make everything fit central and aligned, turned the spacers and fitted the back wheel, all running true and brakes working. They look great, handle sweet and all in cost me with new bearings about £110. I know you mention honda wheels but the fitting should be the same just spindles and spacers as long as you can centre them if they prove awkward to fit cagiva/aprillia wheels are cheap and always available on Ebay and if you need any measurements or advice let me know
