Do they still run the famous Water Ski Race at Catalina Island?
In the late 70's or early 80's there was a young man named Robbie Woods from Australia who journeyed over to ski the Catalina Island race. I think the legend was that he was so fast he lapped the USA top skiers. Don't know if it is true or not.
