Unfortunately, I am not in any manual that I have access to. Any help as to what I should have stock would be much appreciated.

I am just about to go out and pull the carb off to find out for myself. Gonna check float level. Will update with results.

PS- Runs good, but runs a bit rich. Starts pretty easy (sometimes 2 cold, sometimes 20 cold)

Here goes.... (seems to make sense after checking a 400)

MJ- 180
NJ- AB 265
N- K32
Position- 1
PJ- 52
TS- 50
SJ- 45
Mix- 1 7/8 turns

400 settings from the book are:
MJ- 190
NJ- AB 270
N- K35
Position- 2
PJ- 52
TS- 50
SJ- 45
Mix- 2 turns

Seems right to me. The 400 would need a bit more juice, with mine being a bit leaner.

What effect does a domed piston (and hence higher compression) have on the fuel mixture?

The bike had a flat-top before I replaced it with a domed piston. Never changed any carb settings...

Seems to run rich to me. Pops on decell. Bogs from low rpm with full-throttle applied.

I played with the choke level. It appeared to be, when looked at with the carb upside down, that the arms (split float) were pointed upwards a few degrees. Adjusted down to level with the bottom of the carb. Will see after this beer how it feels...
