Carb advice/help

My FE400 2003 is fitted with a standard carb and starts perfect hot/ cold using button or kick, ticks over lovely, revs up smoothly and runs great the only snag I am having is when I throttle off into a corner or down a steep hill when I try to open the throttle back on slowly there is a fraction of a delay before the power is snapped back on, this can be a bit of a nervous pause sometimes waiting for that bang of power coming out of a bend  and on the roads you can feel the chain stretching :? . I have stripped, inspected and cleaned the carb but didn't find anything blocked Any advice would be greatly welcome, as I don't want to blindly fiddle while the bike is starting/running so well.

Sounds like a usual dellorto,Not the best things, but can be made to work better.
Check to make sure the needle/atomiser tubes not worn and everythings nice and clean.
check for the CD1 jet, sits above the pilot jet, helps smooth out the power a little.
But the FCR upgrade is soooo good its like night and day.

Thanks for the offer of the FCR39 but its not a 320 euro problem yet, although it is tempting and I will strip it again KEZ and have a snoop about

RE: re: carb advice/help

well its not much help but you should try the needle lifted a clip and if it isn't that then try it down the other way a clip.
