In the news today it was announced by the Hon.David Cretney,tourism minister for the Ilse Of Man and Ian Lougher( a multi time Ilse of Man TT winner) that there is to be a TT race promoted in Cape Breton,Nova Scotia.Canada on Sept 15-23,2006.The race is to be run over a 30 mile course on public roads.
If you ever wanted to see a TT,and live in Canada or the U.S., next year you can all just drive to one. ........nsman

8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O Are you messing with us!? That is mind blowing news considering I can drive there in a few hours. I would never have dreamed that we could get an event like that in this part of the world. Do you have any details yet or ideas in terms of who would be coming to race, etc

I heard this news from more than one source yesterday.To see the press release click on www.dualsport.ca select" forums" and read the topic titled "Cape Breton festival of speed"...there is supposed to be more info soon...I will keep you posted....nsman
