Can't start the bike :(

I was going downhill in 2nd gear, i decided i will stop, put the bike in 1st gear and bike died after few seconds.
I tried restarting it with kickstart but no sucess, kicked and kicked and bike just wouldn't start, engine was turning over but not fireing up. I checked everything but everything was alright, than i pushed the bike uphill for half hour and rolled down the hill and bump started it, bike fired up and went just like before, i wanted to stop to pick up my helmet but when rpms come down bike died and again i coulndn't start it with kickstart, i pushed the bike AGAIN uphill and again bump started the bike but than i was heading home, i found out that i need to keep rpms up so the bike doesen't die.

I wonder what the hell happend??? My guess is something with decompresor? I disconected cable from decompresor and tried firing up the bike, i kicked it few times and i got signs of life from motor but i didn't had boots so i couldn't kick it hard enough to fire up.
I HOPE that it's something with decompresor, it might be bent valve or something so bike is loosing compresion.

Help me please i want to go riding!!!

Oh yes, the bike is 03' FE 400e that i got few days ago.

It sounds like a broken exhaust valve spring.

The stator could also be going out as they only seem to last 0-4 years or so.

Could be a carb issue but I would check the above first.

Could also be the fuel tank vent is clogged.

Could also be........................

Guess i'll be pulling my head down tomorow already... i just got the bike :(

If the valve spring is really broken can i put that dual spring kit on my 400 ?

What else to look for when i have the head down?

I'd agree with Husabutt that this sounds like an exhaust valve spring break. I've experienced the exact same symptoms when one of mine went.

I'd get in contact with Taffy about compatibility of the dual spring kit with your bike. I had some alterations done on my cylinder head to accommodate a race cam & the dual valve spring kit, and touch wood, since I've had the bike back it runs real smooth, is very quite around the engine, & hopefully I've eradicated spring breakages (I had 4 in about 30 running hours & was about to give up on Husabergs for good!!!) Those OEM conical springs around the 03, 04 era are not the most reliable of components.

Yes i checked your thread and i had EXACTLY same symptoms as you so i guess it's springs.
I'll contact Taffy tomorow when i finaly remove the head.
