Can't find power plug for turn signal harness on '10 FE 390

Howdy all,

I have all of the Husaberg turn signal wiring harnesses and the turn signal switch to add turn signals to my 2010 Husaberg FE 390 (USA model) .....

.... but can't find the dang power plug-in for the harness! I even have the gas tank off and looking below it. Found the plug in for the radiator fan, but otherwise .. no luck.

Can someone in Oz or Euro-land pop off their headlight and find the plug-in ... and/or take a pic for me?

Many thanks! E-Ticket

RE: Can

first you need a schematic that shows which wires go to each component, there are some under the battery as well, check there

The part numbers for the 2010 harnesses are different than the 2009 part numbers. The new ones are not available in the US yet.

I was curious if the 2009 parts would work.

Check the wiring bundled up next to the shock reservoir, there is a plug hiding in there on the 2009's.

Yup! A fellow rider in Vienna, Austria was able to help me out there.

I was able to pick up all the necessary parts and wiring harness from BOSS.

Thanks to Mr. J. Tasky ... I got some off-line guidance and found what I think is the correct plug located just below the battery.

What was throwing me was that I was looking under the steering head/gas tank area expecting to find another plug assembly like for the radiator fan.

And despite all of the wiring harnesses that I had in hand - I'm missing the one that takes power from the plug below the battery ... up to .... and plugs into the wiring harness behind the headlight area.

Get that missing wiring harness (2-wire/2-connector plug) - and I should be in business! I'll post some pics when I get everything installed. (will probably be next week)

Thanks! E-Ticket

No drama, no worries, Boss...

I thought that it might be the difference between the '09 and '10 models - but I'm so new to Hooseyburgers that I couldn't be sure. It's supposed to be nice tomorrow so I'll hop on the Viffer and swing by.

Thanks! E-Ticket

Can anyone tell me what harnesses I need to purchase to install turn signals on my 2009 FE570, and where the relevant plugs are located?
