My camshaft cover cap worked it self out as far as it can go. When I found it is was backed up to the radiator hose.

Is this typical? Can I just clean it, oil it and push it back in? Or is there something else going on here?

The camshaft cap is/was mounted the wrong way, that's why it worked it's way out.
If you look in the Repair manual (for the 2005-2007) at page E5 you'll find this little note.

NOTE: the collar (5) of the cap must engage in the cylinder head groove.

So you'll be good to go if you just mount it the other way around.

I will have to take a look at that.
When I bought the bike I repaced the breather hose.
Today I noticed that it was pinched almost all the way closed. I remved the hose and trimed it to fit better.

If this doesn't work I will check out the cam cap.

Thanks
