the chain in my pix with the odd logo (regina?iwis?) has split rollers smilar to the stock iwis. the fit in the cam gear was perfect. but the did fit nicely too. all three chains appear good quality, with the did having solid rollers.
measured all three and found something interesting. all three are essentially identical when it comes to pin to pin center , roller gap and inside side to side measurements. however, the outside width is different on all three with the did being the skinniest. (did .424, iwis .440, and the new one (whatever it is) is .470) now since the chain runs on the guides using the outer link plate as a foot, it makes sense that my new chain sits higher on the tensioner blades and is thus somewhat tighter (initially) i suspect that shortly it will join the others at 60% or so as it cuts a new groove. look at the attached pic to see a side view of the width differences with the did in front, next is the original iwis (.016 wider), and the new chain in the rear (.030 wider than the iwis and .045 more than the did).
so maybe the pitch issue is not an issue?
