I took the motor apart yesterday and it has an IWIS chain, and I read somewhere that they eventually changed it to DID, im just not sure when. Anyway, I was just wondering if the chain is from factory or it was changed. It looks to be in pretty good shape.
My bike came with the DID camchain and the replacement chain I bought was a factory DID chain. I replace the chain after 60hrs because it stretched so much that it was rubbing against the waterjacket on the inside of the motor. The replacement IWIS chain has been on the bike for 160hrs + and hasn't stretched at all. from now on all I will buy will be IWIS camchains.
