Cam chain? Piston slap? "Normal" tick?

Thanks Alan. I have the hard copy of the owners manual, but there is nothing in it regarding the top end. Is there a proper shop service manual out there?

The locking bolt must be just to the LEFT of the filler cap? It's the only one I see with a thick washer on it.

Yep. Remove the thick washer and that bolt will lock the crank. That washer is also keeping the oil in so drain it first.

Here's a funny one. Got the bike back together and it is sounding a lot less clattery with the new rocker arm and shaft.

I hear what sounds like air being sucked through differently than in the past. Went to take my seat off to see if maybe the air filter or air box boot needed to be seated a little better and realized the seat release is under my seat, and the seat is latched down. Amateur hour here. Any tips on releasing the cable? Am I the only one who's done this? LOL Edit: managed to reach in under using a small, long Allen key. What a pain haha. I won't make that mistake again.

I've done the same. You use what ever you can to release.

Both my Bergs I have added a small cable tie to each of them.
