Yes. Chain is quite new and it seems i have no other option but to buy the link. If there would be whole new chain in affordable price, i would buy it.
525 links are easily found but i dont know if they fit.

Chain in my bike is DID-06BH G67BW. Found out KTM525 has G53HP so that didn't work out. Would be nice to find 67 link.

650 cam chain
Don't use a new link on an old cam chain. it is the weakest link!
get yourself a new chain with a split link then it won't happen. Proper automotive cam chain can have a split link while industrial chain is supplied with a rivet link.

Hello,

does chain need replacement after every race? Because you have to adjust the crankshaft after every proper race. (if not welded) Where can i get the new chain in affordable price? If i order from UK it will give me taxes and all kinds of ****** stuff to do. Chain you are selling is 37.50 pounds if i remember correctly and i think its cheap. But all this brexit aftermath has made it difficult to order from UK.

Best regards Ossi

I think you're wrong.

3 years ago, the price would have been £37.50 to the USA but to Finland it was £45. It is now £37.50 for Finland so why are you a loser?

Next, the crank should be good for season after season and not 'one race'. Importing parts to Finland you would likely pay the same 20% as "import duty" as you paid when it was VAT of 20%. But it depends what the invoice says. If you get £800 of parts for a declared value of £400 you will only pay £80 in tax and not the £160 I charged in VAT 3 years ago.

Proper racer who won championships gave the crank every race after when he felt there was toss. It was 0.1mm normally after every race weekend. There were no tossing problems after welding. Engine was far from stock. Conrods were from Porsche.. Would like to know if you know about these?

I will try to buy chain from you and i would also need head gasket and crank seals.

this guy was 4 times nordic champ and Sveinunggard built his engines. he had 112bhp on the dyno and his engine lasted all season. It is not a good sign to say 'rebuilt after every race'. it's a bad sign.

I don't know about Porsche rods.

I built a 650 engine for the British Sidecarcross No2 team (like 5 times) named The Millard Brothers. all their engines were lasting 4 hours and then they went to another wngine builder and his engines were 700cc and lasted one hour. But my engine did a full season and whenever they pulled it out for the 700cc, an hour later they needed my engine again. In the end my engine went in the back of the lorry for every internaional ScX meeting and they put 80 hours on it (they actually just stopped counting!) in the end. It was called "the Taffmotor".

OK?

Nice, didn't know that much could be done in dyno with 650! :D It was a Finnish supermoto championship bike, said to be being at 100hp. So you feel it in your a55 in asphalt when the crank is not straight. Its important in asphalt and in ice road racing that the crank is straight. Also in every other category. Porsche send conrod with special metal. It didn't need to have have a bearing.

I have heard sidecarcross drivers have +250 hours without done anything to the engine.

OK!

Been hearing about Husabergs since i didnt know how to walk. I also have 550 and VOR400.
