Cheers for that Whosahberg, that is the number on the old chain, I cut the new chain to 66 links but upon fitment even without the tensioner fitted the chain is fairly tight is this normal for this engine?.
I can remember some body posting the same problem but I can't find it.

the cam chain should have adequate play to allow the tensioner to fit with the rod extended at 1 or 2 clicks .
