just to let you all know that if you want to join us this weekend for some green laning or if you have an FS to join some for some country laning - then you're welcome!
we are at Llangollen on the A5 artery into North Wales and we are getting there from Thursday afternoon onwards. there'll be three days of riding and we have team leaders sorted who know the area well. I've ridden there twice and the riding is bloody good!
there are many Hotels and Guest Houses in Llangollen but we will mostly be camping at the 'wern isaf' site and there are still places.
there's a BBQ saturday night and event T-shirts will be available at a nominal fee of a tenner for your first and a more realistic 15 for your second T-shirt.
each days riding off road will start around 9am and all abilities are welcome. the going should be easy unless it rains!
there should be two groups on saturday and on sunday as well we hope. riding ability is dreadful and only covered up by the superb "get you out of the shyte" handling and lythe beauty of a Husaberg!
generally though, riders are worried that they will be the slow one - well don't! this isn't a race.
the difference in the two groups will be the intensity and hours in the saddle and not the speed of the riding. one group will be 10 minutes fueling and eating and the other might be an hour! that is the difference!
we have 2-3 lads taking their FS650s up and they be riding the country lanes....
if you don't have a Husaberg or there is you but your mate has some other sad piece of crap well they acan come but on a ratio of his bike to yours so by my maths that makes just the two of you!
any questions just put them here or give me a call at work etc. I can gaurantee that Fergus is quite a character and will have us all in stitches. that's stitches from knocking us off up on the brennan pass boyo - ok?
regards
