Hi all, just a call for help, to see if someone who is in the Sydney area and can get to Sylvania Waters / Bottany Bay area would take a look at a bike (KTM 85) for me.

Cheers!

Hey highlander, Im in SA and I would like someone to have a look at a KTM 85 that is on ebay that im looking at for a friend, just to see if it is in generally decent nick.

any assistance would be excellent, but its probably a long way out of the way unless you are within easy reach of Bottany Bay, its a suburb right near there.

Cheers!

Wait, wait, wait I'm trying to learn to speak Australian (it's harder than spanish) please translate for a hapless seppo, bundy bear ?
Thank You
Ron

bundy bear is a bit like a drop bear but likes a bit of rum, whereas the drop bear has a preference for lager.
:D

Ok, Cypher but still confused...... Bears in Australia ?????? and does the Wildlife Society know that people in OZ are dropping bears ?

Humerous but true, the little bastards were introduced to Kangaroo Island in the 1920's, I understand about 20 were released, they have bread out of control without the likes of foxes or dingoes to eat them, they are now so prolific that the government pays people to catch them, pull them out of trees with telescopic poles and nooses, and give them a vasectomy / tubal ligation, so they cant breed, you see a lot of them on KI with ear tags, which are the ones which have been sterilised.

Around this part of the country the drop bear numbers have been limited due to predation by hoop snakes. Gotta watch out for them when you're riding in the bush ; )
