cadmere end
raced yesterdayin thick rain AND had to run a trials tyre on the rear to boot. two 1.5 hour sessions and in the first i was riding well and only overtaken by one rider, a sidecar outfit and about 3 quads!
unfortunately i feel at a downhill left and it wouldn't start again. left the bike there having checked what i could of the elctrics and just started to reflect on my morning-anyway after 20 minutes or so i decided to look at the kill switch and sure enough the clutch MC had rotated up and was wedged hard against the kill switch. i had desmissed this mentally at the time of the fall because the kill switch no longer stops the engine when i press it in!
anyway, got going again and then after lunch i really did have a good ride overtaking dozens and dozens of bikes before the same solo as in the morning session got me again. once again he cut the course just to get me and i was enraged.
i fell at the next wet corner and snapped the clutch MC in half. how is yer luck! anyway, tons of mud, enjoyed it and the bike was again running very, very well.
the trials tyre gives little away except from dead stop corners-wouldn't like to have one on the front as well though!
just one other husey there and i don't know how he got on but a lot of novices were dying out there.
just one meeting to go in a fortnights time-a banovallum in lincs where there are expected to be many huseys.
