Your more than welcome to join Earl. It would be great to see you there. Who knows, maybe we could actually do some riding this time

BK has not been on this site in a long time.

I hope I will be able to make it, for some reason I may not, I will post soon about it, but you can now count me as part of the Kablamoh crowd.

Are we to get our own reservations for an RV space, or is this being handled en-masse? I tried to contact Slickrock Campground, recorded message said they are closed for the season, but to go ahead and fill out an application for a space. I did this, but have not gotten any reply in better than a week. Two of us from Montrose, CO, will need two RV spaces. Don't really need all the hookups, just a place to crawl to at night.

You will need to make your own space reservations. Tell them your needs and then request to stay as close to the cabins as possible because you are with that group.
I wasnt aware that they closed "for the season". It makes me wonder when they reopen.

They were closed last time in the winter.

They reopen the first of March.

Don't worry about not getting an RV spot, they have almost 100 and March is their slowest month.

That park is pretty big, no worry. Lots of RV and camper spots, plus a bunch of cabins.

Buzzard,
Just stayed there a few weeks ago, it took us from Friday afternoon till Sunday afternoon when we were leaving to find someone to take our money. He said you can make reservations online, Sickrock Campground and hit search and you should find them. The place is huge,& that time of year it should be no worries.

Here is the location seen from the sky. Go to http://maps.google.com then look for "slickrock campground, moab, ut", select Satellite and zoom in.

The cabins are located where highlighted. The RVs can park in front. That's where the Splatmobile is usually parked.

That's a summertime shot, you can't see much because of the foliage.

It should be about 15% occupied when we go. They seem to have a skinny tire meet at that time of the year.

Plenty of space for RV's and Toy Haulers.

Look forward to seeing you there!
