Bypass ignition switch

Hi all,

Today I arrived in sunny Wales with my Husaberg (and a car load of tools and spares), in preparation for 3 days exploring the local lanes. All was good until I went to start it, only to find the key wasn't in the ignition! Having looked at the wiring diagram of the ignition switch, I thought that joining the 2 yellow wires would do the job, but no joy. Has anyone needed to do this before? It's a 2004 Fe550.

Any help gratefully received - otherwise my 3 days adventuring has gone down the pan!

Cheers,

Martin

Hi
Don't know if its usefull now, but checked the wiring diagram (don't know the bike) and if the key switch is what I think it is, I would try to connect the ye-bl to the ye more to the right.

Hope you have a good adventure!

Sorry to post way too late, but if you disconnect the brown wire from the ignition switch you should be good to go. (I forgot my key once and thought there would be no riding but this worked for me)

regards
