Tried to bull dog around a downed tree, and sucked up a branch into my chain guide. Had to remove the metal cover and That dang rubber part is whole and doesn't not come off without breaking the chain. SUCKS!.. good thing I had my sharp knife with me. I had to cut the chain guide off. That branch was sucked all the way in, no other way out.

Looks like you had a fun day despite the chainguide ordeal. It's always nice to have the camera along! I think the plastic does split at the top but that won't help you now. TM Designworks makes an aftermarket chainguide FYI.

thanks yes we had quite a day. 40 miles untill I got stuck here some more shots of our group, including my wife , here I am riding her bike down a tree ride around

work around another downed tree

and my wife after a creek crossing. It was a beautiful spring day.

she can ride too!

Have you checked your chain tension at mid travel? It looks a bit snug.

seems to be ok, I did drop a tooth upfront and readjusted. Seemed ok to my eye. I did check per manual. Gonna have MotoXotica install new guide, chain, sprokets and add two more teeth in back. so will be tip top shape soon
