So I'm new to the bored and new to the burg, i've always wanted one and one showed up on CL and I'm gonna pick it up later this week.
I checked it all out and seems to be good, little weird kicking it over on the left  but i can get used to that. I've had Yamaha yz426's and 450's my entire life and F'ing loved them! My 426 was built and was wicked fast, faster then the 650 and the 450 was very nimble. The 650 seems to have a lot of power and is real smooth, but I'm looking to increase that power and hopefully b ring it some hit! i need to go through the suspension and beef it up, since i weigh about 345 with gear.
I just wanted to know if their was anything i should look out for? I know I should probably send the stator somewhere to get "modded" and the starter is temprimental and been moded, but anything else?
Also is their any aftermarket parts? Cams, valves, high comp pistons, larger bores, clutch packs, carb mods, etc??? Any supplier for these in the USA? I'd like to bore it out to at least a 700 with a min of 13.5.1 piston, and head/valve work...
Thanks!!
