well the question said it all. has anyone put in the later tensioner blade and at the same time ripped the button off the end of the tensioner itself?

apparently this is what the later tensioners look like?

sorry eric but i wanted to get on now as i intend to build it up in the next 14 days.

Taffy:

I received my latest box of stuff from Dan a few days ago but haven't even opened it yet :(

Too many of lifes little hiccups right now, Lets see....

Sent my son to MX summer camp and on day two he broke his leg. Still in the hospital.

Our (fairly) new house is under siege from the builder as half of it is quarantined while they attempt to fix cracks in the slab, water ingress and mold. The garage is now packed with furniture.

Me and my wife are getting over pneumonia (I thought I was on my way out)

And its HOT

So how are things in Ely?

we think it's hot

Of sorts....

I removed the button and braized an extension onto the end. Haven't touched the slider.

as you may have seen from my gallery, i have an 'extended' piece on the end of the tensioner. i need to go back to either the original length or rip it off completely.

this is all about the '04 tensioner blade which is a lot fatter anyway. i figure i have to rip the entire end 'dome' or 'cap' off and go from there.

I was going to examine and post some photos of the 05 tensioner this evening that I thought had arrived but the package was not from Motoxotica. As soon as it arrives I will post the pics.
