bunch of hoses from the carb??

I have an intermittent stall problem, and there is no significant reason for it. What I want to learn is the function of the bunch of hoses I mean do they just work one way out the carb or does any of them need to properly suck air. Some times mud collects at the tip of them and dries so they get plugged. If they are for draining stuff from carb it shouldn't be a problem but if they are for sucking.. then it may be the reason for stall..

Any further info and tip for solution will be appreciated..

Thanks,

Mesut

None of them is used for sucking but if they get plugged the bike will stop.

This is a basic problem for us SM-riders that use an overflow reservoir... When it gets full the bike will stop after a couple of seconds if you dont get the bike up quickly after a crash.

Four of the five are atmospheric float bowl vents, the other a float bowl overflow drain.

Plug the later and fuel delivery will be rich, the former and you shall
run lean.

As per Jocke_D,
Fill your catch can during a fall and you will indeed run lean.
