THOSE AWESOME PICTURES you posted in (bruce's) gallery! That is some of the most beautiful scenery I have every scene!

The pictures are worth a thousand words...

It is also the attitude of these guys from out west. At the top of the mountain, they just point and say we're going that way. I say wheres the trail. Oh, there is no trail we're just going to start riding thru the bush ...that way.

On the subject of fast AND tough Canadians, Cory Graffunder and Marty Halmazna who finished 4th and 8th in the Last Man Standing - are from Western Canada. At the WEC in Canada last summer, it was all the western boys at the top of the finish list for Canada.

A full write up would take a while. Especially if I include the parts like setting half my gear on fire trying to dry it out at the camp fire....

RE: The pictures are worth a thousand words...

Bruce, those are cool pics, I had forgot about many aspects of that ride. The rock garden, getting lost chapter one titled how to drag a motorcycle up through the trees with 4 guys and 2 tie downs, and chapeter 2, just cause he's fast, doesn't mean we should follow Chuk, into the abyss to have a drink and then ride out.

Anytime someone is into a high mountain ( although theoretically, Colorado can be ridden another couple thousand feet high, our rock line starts at 8-9000ft ) I'm game for hosting. This place is away from cell phones, internet, and unfortunately the beer store.

Are you getting the itch again Bruce?

Nice pics Bruce where was those pics taken it has striking resembles of N Idaho
if it isn't up or down its side hill and the naration of the pics are deja-vu for me
Thanks VIKING

Viking, you couldn't have said it better. de-ja-vu. (Newport) area. NE Washington/NW Idaho and Canada, that corner is my favorite riding spot in the world. SO BEAUTIFUL and SO WILD.

Fry - Yeah - I am more than ready to do that again...Missed the ride with you guys, Elvis and Larry last year because of my back injury.

When I'm all recovered from the WEC rounds that will be a great finale to the season, say early October.

BTW - remember the first day we rode and it started to rain...and we saw lightning and heard thunder BELOW us in the valley...very cool.

You other guys will have to ask fryguy exactly where it was. All I know is I landed in Calgary airport and we drove south.

I didn't want to say so, but yes it is. Force ride 09?

Don't be teasing us now, Fry. I'd head to the north country in a heart beat! You might be concerned about Bobzilla-chili-residue in those pristine mountain streams.

Great pics Bruce!
