Finaly decided to have another go at the old girl (2005 fs 650 e)puled the valve covers off intake side ok then the exhaust first one ok Hmmm other one feels loose. Bugger should be tight this one has 3-4mm play in it think its broken. Not very happy seems the motor has done 8 hours and about 700km since full rebuild and only just got the valves checked the week before. Any one have any tips on what to do next am i going to have to get it striped and put new piston and valves in again or just get the springs replaced. No waranty on this thing I'm not shelling out another $5000 i'd rather strap some power gel to it and send it to the God's !! :( 8O  :?

Steve likes the DVSK kit!

you should find that you're ok with the valve to piston. i would simply get a new headgasket and pull the head off to check/peace of mind etc etc. you'll see a mark on the piston and then you need to stick paraffin down behind the port and see if it leaks anymore than the seat next door. it'a all ABC stuff.
