Hey guys.

I was lucky enough to have my clutch line brake on me on top of black bear pass in Colorado (and from the dumbest fall ever), so here I am looking to replace my clutch line.

Will I need anything beside the following to get the job done:

1.Bleeder syringe ( I'll try and use a $3 dollar syringe from walmart with a left over fuel line that fits over the syringe end and the bleeding nipple before buying the OEM syringe).

2.New clutch line (known as CLUTCH PIPE HUSABERG 2004 #80032063000)

3.Magura Blood Bio Hydraulic Oil (75ml)

Than just run the new line the same way the old one ran, connect both ends, bleed the system and go ride ?

Thanks in advance

Mati

Hi

I would not use fork oil, it works but not very well, and if you what to try at least use 2,5W.

I would find AFT oil, its for automatic transmission.

Also use the noname syringe and a small clear plastic tube.

And I think that TAFF has cheaper that OEM clutch lines.

ATF is typically 30+ Centistrokes which is about 7.5 wt equivalent

2.5wt fork oil is about 16 centistrokes

I use BP bartran HV15 (15 Centistrokes)

the mineral oil "magura blood" is slightly thinner again I think.

pretty much anything works

I finally found the time to get the job done and sure enough most of my Magura oil found it's way to the floor.

I read about a lot of people that use baby oil, and I was wondering in case I do want to use that (or any of the other oils you guys recommended) can I just add that to the Magura oil or do I need to drain the entire system. If so how can I get the fluid out of the slave cylinder?

Thanks again
