At the Brawl in the Breaks, last weekend (north of Lewistown, Montana), two Husabergs entered, one finished....me. My 650 ran flawlessly, my buddy had a problem with his 550. His bike would run for 50 yards and shut off??? Anyhow, I havn't had time to talk to him since to see if he has figured it out yet. The good news is, since he was broken down in the middle of the woods, he got a photo of me on lap two. It was a three 20 mile lap race with 3 checkpoints per lap. 60 miles of gumbo mud and tight trees, with some open sections to get the gumbo out of your tires. I got 17th out of 38. I had a rough finish, got passed by about ten riders during the last 7 or 8 miles on a muddy single track hill section...shifted into second on the hill and spun off the bank...took forever to get up the hill, never caught anybody for the last few miles...the cursing was loud on my part!!
