Hey everyone Iam in the process of adding a dual sport kit onto my old 97 fc510e. My hold up is what to use for brake light switches ? What do you guys normally use ?

Thank you

I've used a banjo bolt switch on a few bikes. Cheap and easy.

That usually what I use but this bike doesnt have banjo fittings lol. I haveant pulled a hose off to be sure but it looks like inverted flare fittings. I wouldnt think its pipe thread so Iam betting on inverted or bubble flare.

my fe has a bolt in micro switch in the brake lever perch, makes it easy to flash the brake light without actually applying real braking pressure which i nice on a dual sport with tiny lights, i gues i am not sure how sensitive the pressure swithes are to compare though...

What year fe ? I guess I could always swap to a newer master with a banjo fitting too.
