BOSS 200mi invitational

:( sorry guy's it's all filled up.

35 rider field, hope there all ready!

will post some pic's when were done.

Hi Boss,
Just thinking about promoting a race again, your invitational sounds like a good concept.Do you bother with a sanction.Do you basically invite 25-30 riders, run the race, have a barbeque and thats it.Coffin says there should be a "real" off road race in this neck off the woods so he can spank everyone...I just might accommodate him :D ....nsman

invitational

:D nsman, this is a fun ride & i'm not charging for the ride i'm sponsoring

it.So there's no reason to get sanction!

But it's a great way to get your budddy's together.

BOSS's bikes

Hi BOSS, not to change the subject, but who was flying on the 450 at Washougal on Sunday last? He looked good. Nice to see a Berg out there. I got a close look at the 450 and the 470, but didn't get a chance to meet the riders. Good looking bikes! BD

bikes,blue

:D BD,I rode the first race 05 450 finished 2nd AA,that was my buddy

on my old 470 02.jason glenn.hope you had fun.

Good job on the 2nd finish! I was pit boss for my kid who rode Open Am. (RMZ 250, 6th place). Fun was had by all. Take care, BD

Rick,

Nice work at Washougal. Our little grass track just was not the same this year without you and the smelly (Dustin) making us all look slow. Maybe I will see you next weekend?

NSman.....I would like to help put on an event with you but in terms of spanking....My physical fitness (or lack thereof) dictates that I will only go fast for the first 5 minutes and then the young guns will be spanking me!! :D

Rick,

It was great to talk with you yesterday and I will look forward to seeing you again next week. I talked with FryGuy last night and his flight is booked so it looks like we will have a great crew on hand.

Cheers

Boss,

I have been anxious to hear what happened. How did it go? Where are the pics? Did your new haircut make you run cooler and faster? :D

BOSS 200

I think BOSS is getting all the photos worked out, but I was there..not riding :( ..anyway, Boss had about 31 riders, six on bergs. The ride went off great, no injuries, breakdowns, or lost riders! Mr and Mrs Boss put on an awesome feast afterward. Yes all six Husabergs finished(one on a flat rear tire)! :eek:ccasion5:

What different types of terrain did you guys encounter for your 200 mile adventure?

boss

you're a generous soul, that looks like it was fun! any pics of the wider expanses of oregon?

meal last night and a friend who flew home from a business trip to oregon and washington state reckons he's finally found a part of the USA he could call home!

switched on people but warm and generous. reckons he'd like to move there as anywhere!

well done fella!

regards

Taffy

Hi Britt, I can answer your question. These guys rode a combination of open desert( high speed, sand, flat), twisty woods trails with whoops and rocks, sand washes( deep silty sand, with whoops), high desert trails( somewhat rough, rocky trails that weave through sage brush), lava flow trails(all of central oregon is on lava flow, very sharp rock, somewhat technical). Hope this helps. Here is the address to the local forest service web site, I believe they have trail maps on there. We started at the four corners staging area, and rode down to the guard station, then back to four corners. Hope this link works http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/centraloregon/recreation/cohvops/index.shtml
