Boring out my FCR 41 to 44

Hi all
I am considering boring out my 41 out to 43.8 and have been told it is quit possible
however I'm not sure where to bore it straight through or. offset to the top
if any one can alp please feel free

I am interested too, are you going to change the air cleaner set up also?

i have heard of someone here in belgium who got his carb opened up in offset to the top.
that setup gave him ,so claimed, the torq of a smaller carb and when full throttle gave him the advantages of a larger bore carb.

bored out to 43.5

hey all
have bored out my FCR to 43.5 a friend did it on his CNC and has done a awesome job
the bore id smooth no milling marks, we did it straight through not ofset
i got it back Friday and rein staled it and took her for a spin. i had to turn the mixture screw out 5 turns to get it to run then when riding she had a flat spot when giving her a hand full . so hade to change the IJ it was a 45 so i drilled it out to a .53mm and mixture screw out 1.5 turns
then i changed the needle from a OBDVR to a OBDVT 2nd from top clip positon and took her out again . WHAT A CHANGE. she goses like a shower of **** AWESOME
I think is well worth the effort on the 650 .very happy

next my DOMA system is on its way cant wait !

yes I am but i have done the seat mod , cut out big hole in seat over the air filter . :roll:
