After almost 90h on the bike i notice that the tank is beginning to get thin at the redmarked area  ,i have also worn throught the sidepanel (marked red).

Is there any good protection for it?? or any other ideas..i dont like the idea to have a hole in the tank.

Try the Husaberg plastic frame guards. They might be just enough to push your boot out away from the tank.

Try stair tread grip tape- works great, sticks to just about everything, but kinda ugly...
Been using it for a couple of years now, everything from Hondas to Huskys... No complaints, and still sticking.

Google a search...

Did a glassfibre protection to cover the side of the tank. no pretty but it works ..pic is comming

I have the Husa frame guards but my boots were still scuffing the tank, subframe and side panels so I bought a sheet of the stick on plastic protector material you can get from most bike shops and cut out some shapes to fit. So far it's working a treat.
