Gidday Everyone,
Let me start by saying how much I love my new Berg (FE450 2010 Model). Absolutely fantastic after coming off a 99 RMX 250
A mate of mine has a 2009 FE570, and I recently helped him sort out a blocked injector. He runs a pump filter (sock type) but not a pro-fill tank filter.
It makes sense that the bike needs a filter, as they have them in EFI cars, but then Sherco's and other EFI bikes don't run a filter and don't block injectors up.
I have heard through the grapevine that Husaberg's "Official" theory is that we have too much Ethanol in our fuel here in Australia, but no-one here really runs fuel with any ehtanol in it, unless they are putting it in non-labelled fuels?
The theory still doesn't hold water, as other brand bikes with EFI aren't having the same problems.
So, are other countries experiencing injector blockages? Do other countries have ethanol content in there fuel?
Cheers Y'All.
Tony
