Bleeding clutch - what do I want?

I need to replace the slave on my FS570, haven't dealt with a mineral oil setup before.

Looks right to me. When you do it bleed from slave to master making sure no air pocket in line.

The clutch slave is relatively easy to bleed compared the brake caliper. I would just buy a larger volume of the mineral oil and a short piece of tubing. Dont see much value in the kit unless you want to have it to do brakes in the future.

Do you generally use the Magura specific mineral oil or just mineral oil from a drug store?

Mineral oil it doesn’t have to be Magura. Using that kit will make less messy and easier. But is it worth it you. Depending on how hard you are the brakes some people say to replace the fluid once a year. I do it about every 3 years. I have 12 bikes and all of them are hydraulic brakes and clutch’s

Many people use ATF or generic mineral oil for the clutch. I always felt it was worth it to use the proper Magura fluid as its not changed with much frequency.

I've done brakes plenty, I'm fairly hard on them. Just not used to hydraulic clutch using mineral oil.

Its really no different than bleeding any other closed hydraulic system. Do the same thing you have with brakes in the past.

I’m not saying to mineral oil everywhere. Look at covers/maintenance books to see what to use.
