what an amazing season for an eighteen year old lad, to go around the UK to each round and see him shove it up Honda and all the chin-on-the-tank brigade!
anyone ever thought of making a slightly more aerodynamic SM bike on the street?
the first thing I looked at was a front tyre hugger mudguard from the big rallye bikes, but there is no fitment for them. the huggers are designed to be bolted on away from the fork leg to give them stability and strength.
I'm still looking into it but it looks like the only place to mount the hugger is on the bottom inch of the leg and rely on not all the SM travel being needed on the street.
the second item is a fairing, a bikini fairing. I can't get the idea right in my head? retro ala Croz or angled screen ala 916 Ducati? it's just that I like to phuq about.....
you put all this effort into tuning them and then they go through the air like a Lorry (Truck).
