Over the last month I have ridden the desert trails and two different areas of woods riding. I have to say my 06 fe-650 is the best bike I have ever owned or ridden. It is a hoot to ride in the fast open desert trails and is easier to ride in the tight stuff than a 650 with this much power has a right to be. I have loved Husabergs since I first saw one but this one will start with my left foot cold, 1 or 2 kicks and e-starts on demand. very cool and the whole bike is much improved over my 01 fx-650.

Hhhhmmm... dont know what it is Wooleyberger but even someone like me who spends all his time repairing and searching for parts and who'll put 3 weeks labour into his bike just for a 10 minute ride and spends half his life not knowing whether to laugh or cry will still tell you.... BERGS DO RULE!!!

I have to admit a 450 is probably all I would ever need for most of the riding I do. But since I only get a new bike so many times in life I opted for the one I really wanted. I really like old school four stroke power but I also like power in the mid range and occasional rev out. This bike does it all. It is very versatile. Suspension and handling fit me very well and aside from handguards I added this bike needs nothing. Well maybe more fuel range but thats another story all together. This weekend I am going camping and riding in the high country and camping next to a lake with a view of nearby Mt. Washington. It dont get much better than that.
