Berg and KTM - parts interchangeable?

just how interchangeable are parts between the bergs and ktms?

I picked up my 02 FX470e and was just curious how much crosses over.

nearest dealer is over 500 miles but the ktm dealer is just around the corner

Wheels, brakepads and rear sprockets are same as 01 and 02 KTM

Front sprocket is unique to berg and Husky

Forks are same as newer KTMs, bergs had 48s before the sx had them

Actually many bearings are shared, along with some of the bushings. The clutches are similar also, but I don't know the exact cross over.

The frt. brake rotor, front fender, front plate, fork guards, footpegs, levers/master cylinders, axle nuts, and at least the front axle and probably the rear will cross over.

And the older LC4 KTM's had the same Dellorto carb.

Check the 2004 Berg parts guide(Assuming you know the delta from your 2002 to the 2004) to get a better idea, then enter the parts in a KTM part ckecker like at KTMtalk.com. ...note the ones starting with a 800 series are Berg specific.

on the 99 the brake calipers and the headlight surround are the same as the 96 ktm 250 exc :wickedfart:

Hi,

there are in detail some KTM parts which fit on the Husaberg.....
But what it is... I donÃ‚Â´t exactly know. Could be that clutch parts
fit on the berg, but no guarantee... KTM also changed a lot the last
3 years.
A friend of mine is KTM used spare parts dealer.
I could ask him and compare some engine parts. But as I know
KTM changed the very details, even though they copied the (old) Husaberg engine.

But: ShouldnÃ‚Â´t it be possible that the KTM dealer next to you, also can
get Husaberg parts? Here in Germany it is possible.
